During a wildfire, earthquake, flood, hazardous-material release, severe storm, power outage, or evacuation, residents need information from agencies with responsibility for the affected location. No single website covers every Tri-Valley community or emergency.
People living, working, attending school, or traveling in Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore, San Ramon, Danville, Sunol, and nearby communities should bookmark the resources relevant to each jurisdiction. Review them periodically because alert systems, links, telephone numbers, evacuation zones, and agency responsibilities may change.
The “Last reviewed” dates below show when each link was checked for this guide. They do not guarantee that content has remained unchanged. During an emergency, confirm current instructions directly with the responsible agency.
City Emergency Information
Municipal websites may publish city-specific closures, public-works notices, facility information, preparedness guidance, and local updates.

County Alerts, Evacuation Zones, and Emergency Information
Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore, and Sunol are in Alameda County. San Ramon and Danville are in Contra Costa County. Residents who cross the county line for work, school, medical appointments, or family visits should register for both counties’ applicable systems.

An evacuation warning means residents should prepare to leave. An evacuation order means they should leave promptly according to official instructions. Only authorized agencies may issue, change, or lift these directions.
Fire and Law-Enforcement Agencies
Call 911 for fire, a crime in progress, serious injury, or an immediate threat to life. Use agency websites and nonemergency numbers for preparedness information and matters that are not urgent.

Never drive around a barricade or enter a closed evacuation area because an application appears to show an open road. Follow police, fire, Caltrans, and transportation-agency directions at the scene.
Emergency Shelter and Assistance
Shelter locations may change according to the incident. Do not travel to a previously used shelter without confirming that it is currently open.
