Try It Today: Send a private message thanking the administrator for one specific practice that makes the group more useful or respectful.
Make It Work for You: Do not expect preferred treatment, approval of prohibited content, removal of legitimate criticism, or access to private member information. Respect the group’s rules and recognize that administrators may need to limit advertising, political arguments, unverified emergency claims, personal attacks, or repetitive posts. Volunteer administrators are not necessarily emergency officials, legal authorities, mediators, or fact-checkers.
